The Tool House acquires Applied Products division
The Tool House announced the acquisition of the Applied Products Industrial Assembly Tool & Equipment Division.
Both companies are distributors of assembly tools, equipment and technology for industrial manufacturing industries in the Midwest. Based out of Minnetonka, Minn., the Applied Products Industrial Equipment division is the third Tool House branch location. Additional branches are located in Auburn Hills, Mich., and Dubuque, Iowa.
The Tool House will continue operating sales, customer service/inside sales, service center, inventory and warehouse operations from its New Berlin, Wis., headquarters location.
"Aligning ourselves with the IE Department from Applied Products will provide a strong, dominant front in the industrial equipment and assembly tool market, broaden the resources and value propositions provided to our customers, and strengthen the opportunities for growth in the Midwest," the company said in a press release announcing the acquisition.
AP team members Steve Kobeska, Skip Young, D.J. Bakken, Steve Neutz, Steve Herring and Jim Luka have joined The Tool House following the acquisition.
