IDG joins AD
Affiliated Distributors (AD) announced that Industrial Distribution Group (IDG) has joined AD’s Industrial Supply Division (ISD).
Headquartered in Belmont, N.C., IDG and is a technically driven distributor of indirect materials with locations throughout North America and China, providing same-day shipping on thousands of brand name products.
“The addition of IDG makes the Industrial Supply Division stronger and well positioned for growth,” said Jack Templin, president of AD’s Industrial Supply Division.
ISD board chairman Jeff Bigelow, president of Hubbard Supply, added that the strength of any organization is the accumulation of the quality of its members. "Adding a quality distributor like IDG, with a business model that is consistent with our members and an impressive growth trajectory, strengthens our entire division.”
Charlie Lingenfelter, IDG president and CEO, cited AD’s core value proposition for his company’s enthusiasm surrounding AD membership. “I believe in having a limited supply base similar to AD. The AD conventions and the market planning process is a very disciplined approach to managing the sales and marketing processes within both the supplier and distributor. The networking with the AD organization is also invaluable to a distributor. Last, but not least, the AD process improves the profitability for a disciplined distributor.”
