IDC-USA donates $30K to Haiti relief effort

Distributors, suppliers and staff of IDC-USA collectively donated in excess of $20,000 to the IDC Charitable Trust Fund designated to Haiti Relief.

The IDC Charitable Trust Corporation, established by IDC-USA, initiated a matching program to provide an additional $10,000 to the American Red Cross for the Haiti Relief and Development Fund, raising the total donation to $30,000.

“It is truly an honor to work with such caring people who are so generous in their assistance of those in need,” said Jack Bailey, president and CEO of IDC-USA. “On behalf of our independent distributor member-owners, IDC Preferred Suppliers and staffs, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti.”

As Haiti endures the most devastating earthquake disaster in the history of the country, the need to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in Haiti meets with the charitable mission of the IDC Charitable Trust Corporation, a 501(C)3 organization.

Established in 1988, IDC-USA is a member-owned purchasing and national marketing cooperative of independent distributors of industrial bearing, power transmission and industry related products. The cooperative currently consists of over 225 independent distributors located in 42 states and over $1 billion in annual sales. IDC-USA’s Distribution Center, IDC University and Corporate Offices are headquartered in Indianapolis.
