Motion & Control Enterprises acquires Swanson Flo
Motion & Control Enterprises has acquired Swanson Flo, a regional distributor of process instrumentation, flow control valves, actuators, and related equipment.
Swanson Flo also provides critical value-added services including actuated valve assemblies, field services and shop repairs.
Based in Plymouth, Minnesota, Swanson Flo employs 92 associates, servicing industrial and municipal markets in 13 states in the upper Midwest and beyond. The company has warehouse locations in Plymouth; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago and Indianapolis. As a division of MCE, Swanson Flo will continue to operate under the Swanson Flo name with the same leadership team, employees, and suppliers.

On Dec. 31, 2020, MCE also acquired Diversified Air Systems, a Cleveland-based distributor of air compressors and related products including vacuum & water recovery systems, nitrogen/oxygen generators, cooling towers and chillers. The company serves industrial markets in Ohio, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania from four Ohio locations in Cleveland, Akron and Toledo, and a location in Washington, Pennsylvania.
