HD Supply to file IPO?
According to published reports, the private equity backers of HD Supply plan to take the company public through an initial public offeirng (IPO) of stock.
The reports said that equity groups Dubilier & Rice, Carlyle Group and Bain Capital are planning to conduct interviews with investment banks in an attempt to choose underwriters for the proposed IPO of HD Supply, which they bought in 2007 from Home Depot for $8.5 billion.
