NetPlus Alliance said 2015 sales up 12 percent
NetPlus Alliance posted a 12% increase in purchases in 2015 over 2014.
The growth for the North American industrial and contractor supplies buying group followed a strong 2014, when the group saw a year-over-year increase of 13.5%. The group added 30 new distributor members and 26 new suppliers in 2015.
“Once again, NetPlus has surpassed the annual growth in the industrial supplies market, as tracked by our NetPlus Business Index,” said Jennifer Murphy, president of NetPlus Alliance. “As day-to-day business challenges are heightened by ongoing economic turbulence, there is no better time to consider joining a buying group; profitability is paramount to the long-term success of independent distributors. NetPlus continues to provide programs that deepen engagement between our distributor members and manufacturer partners, including our new Growth Plus joint sales planning program.”
The NetPlus Continuing Education program hosted more than 70 distributors at on-site events at manufacturer and manufacturer representative training facilities in 2015. And last year, NetPlus hosted over 3,000 meetings between distributors and suppliers at its annual meeting, regional meetings and trainings.
