SKF sales gain 3.5 percent
SKF reported first-quarter sales of SEK 21.3 billion ($2.2 billion), a 3.5 percent gain from SEK 20.5 billion in last year's first quarter.
The industrial business delivered organic growth of 3 percent. Sales grew in all three main markets: Europe, Asia and North America.
Operating profit of SEK 2.7 billion ($280 million) compared to SEK 2.6 billion in the same period last year.
