Purvis Industries acquires Foresight Automation

Purvis Industries announced its acquisition of Foresight Automation based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Foresight Automation is an independent systems integrator that has been in operation since 2000 and provides industrial control systems for discrete manufacturing through PLC and HMI designs, as well as for process automation, motion control, and SCADA. The company also offers a UL508A panel shop, onsite commissioning, custom machine building, robotic integrations, and field service.

“We are excited to welcome Foresight Automation to the Purvis Industries family,” said Cameron Barker, vice president of corporate operations for Purvis Industries. “Foresight is a respected system integrator of industrial control systems and brings to Purvis a capability which previously we had to outsource. We look forward to providing complete electrical and automation solutions to go along with our mechanical and bulk material handling capabilities.”

Jarrett Miller, president of Foresight Automation, said, “It’s an awesome opportunity to join Purvis Industries. Their sales force and geographic footprint will give us an opportunity to serve many more customers throughout the United States. With all the solutions that Purvis provides, adding electrical controls and automation is a natural fit and we are eager to see where the combined companies can go.”
