Precision Castparts sales up 16%
Precision Castparts Corp. said its sales increased 16 percent to $1.95 billion in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012.
Net income from continuing operations totaled $338.4 million, or a record $2.31 per share in the quarter, compared to $271.0 million, or $1.87 per share in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011.
Its Fastener Products segment sales of $487.9 million, which included a full quarter of Primus and PB Fasteners, grew 42 percent over segment sales of $344.7 million in the same period a year ago.
