BDI acquires Brown Bearing
Bearing Distributors Inc. announced its acquisition of Spokane, Wash.-based Brown Bearing Co.
The family-owned-and-operated business is now known as Brown Bearing Co., a division of BDI.
“This acquisition enables us to provide enhanced service and solutions to customers, both existing and prospective, in the Pacific Northwest,” said BDI-USA president and chief operating officer John Ruth. “It also engages BDI with the large loyal customer base that Brown Bearing has developed over nearly 60 years in business.”
With 174 global branch operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia, BDI services manufacturing companies throughout the world with bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical power transmission, linear motion, fluid power, material handling, industrial and safety products.
