Fastenal sales up 6 percent in May
Fastenal reported sales in May of $333.7 million, a 6.2 percent increase over $314.3 million in the same month last year.
Daily sales of $15.9 million compared to $15.7 million in May 2015, a 1.1 percent increase. Daily sales to manufacturing customers was up 0.6 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customers fell by 1.8 percent.
Headcount at the end of the month of 17,160 was up 6.7 percent from last year.
