ID magazine publisher shuts down
Advantage Business Media, parent company of Industrial Distribution magazine, has ceased operations.
According to published reports and other sources, the company notified employees on June 17 that they were out of a job, effective immediately. The magazine's website has not been updated since that date. ABM filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with the Delaware Bankruptcy Court on June 18.
The company was founded in 2006 and sold to Austin, Texas-based private equity firm Owner Resource Group in 2014.
