US LBM Holdings adds acquisition
East Haven Builders Supply, a subsidiary of US LBM Holdings, has acquired Millwood Lumber of Winchester County, N.Y.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
Founded in 1932, the family-owned lumberyard sells building materials, millwork, windows and doors to remodelers, builders and homeowners in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Millwood Lumber will retain its name, and all the current associates are being offered employment with East Haven Builders Supply, according to the announcement. Michael Malara, president of Millwork Lumber, will remain as a partner in the business.
"The addition of Millwood Lumber improves our access into Westchester County and increases our base of long-standing customers," said Antonio Rossano, president of East Haven Builders Supply, in a prepared statement. The company operates two locations in Connecticut, in East Haven and Newtown.
Parent company US LBM Holdings, headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., was formed in 2009 and now operates more than 30 locations across the Midwest and East Coast.
