Davis named president of ORS Nasco
United Stationers Inc. announced that Larry D. Davis has been promoted to the position of president, ORS Nasco.
In this role, he will assume responsibility for leading ORS Nasco in the development and execution of strategic business unit initiatives and the delivery of operating plans and goals setting in collaboration with all business units and functions, according to a company press release.
Davis joined ORS Nasco, the company's industrial supplies division, in late 1999 and has served in numerous senior leadership roles, most recently as general manager since January 2009.
"ORS Nasco has demonstrated that it is a key platform for future growth, and we are confident that we can take this business to the next level," said Richard W. Gochnauer, president and chief executive officer of United Stationers. ORS Nasco is building momentum and we are confident that the ORS Nasco team under Larry's leadership will continue to deliver outstanding results."
