Grainger July sales up 21 percent
Grainger reported sales for the month of July increased 21 percent versus July 2009.
Results for the month included a 5 percentage point positive contribution from acquisitions and a 1 percentage point contribution from foreign exchange. Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 15 percent.
Sales in the United States increased 17%, while sales in Canada were up 21%. Other businesses, which includes sales from the acquired business in Japan, were up 180%.
