Barnes expands 'green' catalog
Barnes Distribution has expanded its Eco-Friendly Greener Catalog for 2010 to include new soy based cleaners and degreasers.
The new soy based cleaners and degreasers are from Nutek Green, an Ohio-based member of the Hoover Family, which is expanding into the Industrial MRO market after receiving certification to Boeing Standard D6-17487.
"We are thrilled to bring to market Grime Off, a green solution that offers superior performance in cleaning grease, brake dust and industrial grime by using a completely waterless process with no harmful VOC's," said Cathy Horton, CEO, Nutek Green. "The Barnes Distribution Eco-Friendly Greener Catalog is a convenient source for the MRO industry, and Nutek is honored to be included in this product mix."
"All of the 449 products sold in the catalog have low or no volatile organic compounds (VOC), no hazardous air pollutants or ozone depleting chemicals, and no SARA reportable ingredients," said Chris Paczak, director, product development, Barnes Distribution. "Adding these new products furthers our breadth and depth of green offerings for our customers."
Additional products in the catalog include Barnes Distribution High Solid Paints, cleaners and degreasers, greases and lubricants, lead free wheel weights, janitorial supplies, adhesives, sealants, lighting, all natural sorbent pads and more.
All catalogs are packaged with a sample Nutek Grime Off Wipe and BD Greenx paper towel.
