Barrett named COO of United Stationers industrial group
United Stationers Inc. announced that Paul Barrett will serve as chief operating officer industrial effective immediately.
"Paul has been president of our janitorial and sanitation business, and recently president of national and strategic accounts. I have the utmost confidence in Paul's proven ability to lead growth organizations, leverage collaboration with our shared services, and build a strong culture in our industrial business," said Cody Phipps, president and chief executive officer.
Reporting to Paul, Christian Wiltrout has been appointed general manager industrial, and Mark Prox as divisional senior vice president of operations and location leader for the industrial business in Tulsa.
The company announced in July that Larry Davis, president of ORS Nasco, the company's industrial supplies division, will leave that position on Sept. 5 to become an equity partner, and executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Stellar Industrial Supply of Tacoma, Wash.
