Streamlight names new regional sales manager
Streamlight, a global provider of high-performance lighting tools, named Scott Wert regional sales manager for the Industrial/Fire Division.
In his new role, Wert will be responsible for driving sales and working with manufacturer representative agencies and distributor networks to increase market share in the industrial and fire markets.
“Streamlight welcomes Scott to the industrial and fire division, where we are confident he will assist the team in reaching its sales goals,” said Michael F. Dineen, vice president, sales and marketing. “Scott’s long history of success in sales and distribution is a huge asset to the company.”
Wert has more than 20 years of experience managing regional sales programs. Before joining Streamlight, he served as market manager in the commercial division for Armstrong Flooring in Cincinnati, where he developed consulting relationships with architects, designers, end users, distributors, and retailers to promote sales. From 2008 to 2014, Wert served as regional manager with Milliken & Company, where he was responsible for managing the distribution channel, pioneering and establishing national accounts, and driving negotiated commercial business.
Wert received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati.
