Apache Hose and Belting adopts new strategy
Apache Hose & Belting Co. announced that it is adotping a new business strategy that will focus exclusively on distributors and OEMs.
To mark the change, which coincides with the compay's 50th anniversary in 2013, the organization is changing its name to Apache Inc.
Apache will work directly with key end user customers through a transition period, connecting them with a distributor that will continue to source Apache’s products.
The company explained in a press release that the transition is part of a broader market strategy. In the last three years, Apache acquired two new industrial and agricultural belt businesses and a molded rubber company, and has also experienced organic growth driven by relationships with distributors and OEMs in the industrial market.
“A solid partnership is key to our success. We believe that success begins and ends with a united effort. By working together as partners our businesses will flow more seamlessly and we can work more effectively. Together we can provide the kind of solutions that will change industry in the future,” said Tom Pientok, Apache president and CEO.
To support the growth and expanded breadth in the U.S., Apache has added technical product managers focused on creating partnerships with distributor network and OEM customers. Apache has also initiated establishing a nationwide Apache sales force that will be dedicated to continuing the growth trend.
In conjunction with these changes, Apache is adopting a new logo and tagline "Think Forward."
Apache is a fabricator and wholesale distributor of hose products, fabricated belting products, cut and molded rubber, and industrial consumer products.
