MP Pumps celebrates 75 years in business

MP Pumps, Fraser, Michigan, announced that the company will celebrate its 75th year of business on Sept. 20.


MP PumpsMP Pumps was founded in Detroit in 1942, shortly after the United States entry into World War II. The company's first pumps were used in landing craft, P.T boats, and other amphibious vehicles where quality and reliability were absolutely essential. After the war, MP continued to grow along with its reputation for superior design, engineering and manufacturing of centrifugal pumps for a wide variety of applications.

Our entire team looks forward to continuous engagement with our valued customers as we provide pump solutions to grow our collective businesses,” said Ed Laabs, global vice president of sales and marketing.

MP Pumps provides centrifugal pump solutions to the industrial, marine, agriculture, petroleum, transportation, warewash and emerging markets. It operates a 90,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Fraser, Michigan, and warehouses more than 4,000 different SKUs.

MP Pumps is a member of the Industrial Supply Association and the buying groups NetPlus Alliance and IBC.
