BlackHawk Industrial acquires Marshall Tool Salt Lake
BlackHawk Industrial announced the acquisition of certain assets of the Marshall Tool Salt Lake City, Utah operation.
The acquisition broadens BlackHawk's geographical footprint and sales penetration in the Utah and Mountain Region marketplaces. The additional inventory stocking location paired with field sales and CSR talent at this location further strengthens BlackHawk’s presence in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In some cases, we are able to attract and acquire the best local distributors in a given market to become part of our business we are building in North America," said Bill Scheller, CEO of BlackHawk Industrial. "With the latest asset acquisition of Marshall Tool in Salt Lake City, we are ‘greenfielding’ a new location in a great geographical area within the United States. We believe this area of the country is currently underserved and will benefit from the technical metalworking sales talent of a distributor like BlackHawk Industrial.”
Scheller added that BlackHawk will continue to aggressively recruit strong local sales and customer service talent in the Mountain Region. "We truly value individuals who want to be aligned with a strong distributor whose culture genuinely values their contribution to the business,” he said.
