Carlisle sales up by 1.8 percent
Carlisle Companies reported net sales of $991.0 million for the third quarter of 2016, a 1.8% increase from $973.1 million in the third quarter of 2015.
Net sales from the acquisitions of Micro-Coax Inc., in the Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) segment, and MS Oberflächentechnik AG (MS Powder), in the Carlisle Fluid Technologies (CFT) segment, contributed a total of 1.0% to net sales in the third quarter of 2016. Organic net sales grew 1.0%. Foreign exchange rate fluctuations had a negative impact to net sales in the third quarter of 0.2%.
The reported loss from continuing operations in the third quarter of 2016 was $9.5 million, or 15 cents per diluted share.
