Fastenal October sales up by 17.5 percent
Fastenal reported sales of $469.8 million in October, a 17.5 percent increase from $399.7 million in October 2017.
Daily sales of $20.4 million increased by 12.4 percent from daily sales of $18.2 million in October 2017. Sales to manufacturing customers increased by 12.1 percent for the month, while sales to non-residential construction customers grew by 14.6 percent.
Employee headcount stood at 21,446 at the end of the month, a 4.4 percent increase from 20,550 last year.
