Actuant names new VP
Actuant Corporation announced that Barbara G. Bolens has joined Actuant as its vice president of corporate strategy, investor relations and communications.
She will report to Rick Dillon, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
"I am very pleased to welcome Barb to lead Actuant’s corporate strategy and investor relations/communications team. Barb is an accomplished leader and given the extensive corporate finance leadership experience she brings to the company, including leading corporate strategy initiatives, investor relations and communication functions, acquisition integration and capital structure leadership, Barb is well qualified for her new position and I look forward to working with her,” Dillon said.
Prior to coming to Actuant, Bolens spent more than six years at Joy Global Inc./Komatsu Mining Corporation as its vice president and treasurer. Responsible for treasury operations at both Komatsu America/Komatsu Mining Corp and Joy Global (its predecessor), she led several treasury and risk management initiatives, including integration and merger activities, development of an enterprise risk management structure and implementing strategies to manage the company’s capital structure.
Prior to Komatsu Mining/Joy Global, Bolens held positions at several other multinational corporations as well as early career leadership roles in sales and marketing.
