Tencarva Machinery on N.C. Top 100 list
Tencarva Machinery Company ranked 48th in the 2012 “Grant Thornton North Carolina 100” ranking of the largest privately owned companies headquartered in the state.
The list was published in the October 2012 issue of Business North Carolina.
Tencarva is a distributor of pumps, pumping systems, fluid handling systems and related products, headquartered in Greensboro, N.C.

The “North Carolina 100” list ranks companies by 2011 revenue. Although actual revenue is not disclosed, companies are grouped by ranges of revenue. Data is compiled by Grant Thornton LLP. The list began in 1984, ranking privately held companies on the most recent fiscal year. Companies owned by private equity are allowed. Not eligible are subsidiaries, financial services companies, healthcare companies, companies with publicly traded stock and nonprofits.
