ISA introduces Industrial Supply Guide
The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) introduced the Industrial Supply Guide.
The online business tool is available to all MRO channel members from a link on the ISA Web site home page (www.isapartners.org). The Supply Guide features a wide range of products and services exclusively for the MRO industry that support ISA’s members and others in their purchasing decisions.
The Supply Guide features a Product Showcase which highlights the best items MRO suppliers have to offer. With front page rotation of select products that link directly back to the company's Web site, users have instant access to specific information on product features, pricing, etc.
Within the Supply Guide, online searchers can easily locate products and services unique to the industry without the clutter of a general Internet search engine. Users have the option of performing keyword-driven searches, or a category-specific search. Both methods produce the most industry relevant results on the Web.
The Guide also includes Request for Information (RFI) functionality. This feature allows users to contact participating suppliers with a click of their mouse. With a downloadable desktop search application available, manufacturers, distributors and end-users have the ability to search for items directly from a small search window on their desktops - making the search process as convenient and time-efficient as possible.
Along with the option to purchase a graphically robust company listing, direct Web site hyperlink and e-mail generation capacity, the Supply Guide allows supplier and distributor companies to add videos to their listing. This feature gives users immediate access to video formatted information and promotions that will help them easily procure products and services specific to their industry needs.
ISA partnered with MultiView Inc., an Irving, Texas-based publisher of electronic buyer and supplier guides, to develop the Supply Guide. "For the first time, MRO professionals and customers will have access to specialized products and services through the industry’s leading resource," said Dan Maitland, MultiView president. "Cutting through the clutter of multiple search engines and finding exactly what you are looking for, all at the same time, is a wonderful benefit to each and every channel member."
