BlackHawk Industrial appoints Great Lakes regional GM

BlackHawk Industrial, a market-leading distributor of metalworking and other mission-critical industrial products, has appointed Anthony DeSalvo as general manager of the Great Lakes region.


Anthony DeSalvoDeSalvo brings over a decade of experience with BlackHawk Industrial, holding key roles that demonstrate his leadership, operational expertise, and dedication to customer success. Joining the company in 2014 as a customer service representative, he quickly advanced to account manager, where he managed major accounts and established national relationships, paving the way for expanded industry partnerships.

Throughout his tenure, DeSalvo has excelled in driving cost savings, streamlining processes, and optimizing customer operations. He has led critical initiatives, including ERP system integrations, RAIL (Rolling Action Item List) meetings to enhance inventory and sourcing practices, and innovative supply chain solutions to reduce lead times and boost efficiency. His collaborative approach and measurable results have earned him a reputation as a transformative leader.

In his recent role as regional customer service representative, DeSalvo oversaw operations across multiple branches, managed a $59.6 million sales region, and led a team of 28 employees. His strategic vision and operational excellence have been pivotal in driving growth and strengthening customer relationships.
