Grainger hosts three-day show in Orlando
The biannual Grainger Show descended on Orlando March 15–17 as 12,000 attendees poured into 450,000 square feet of tradeshow and seminar spaces at the Orange County Convention Center.
Marking its 19th year, the show welcomed 6,400 customers and featured 523 exhibits hosted by Grainger suppliers.
Paige Robbins, senior vice president and president, Grainger Business Unit, said the show gives the distrbutor's customers an opportunity to explore what's new and view a wide array of products they may not yet have discovered. The event also facilitates face-to-face meetings among customer and Grainger executives without the distractions of in-office business. The distributor brought 2,400 team members to interface with customers and suppliers during the three-day product- and process-centric exposition.
On the show floor, exhibitors featured product demos and dynamic displays. Hosting 12 of its own booths, Grainger highlighted its private label product lines and customer consulting services, plus other value-add services related to:
- Fabrication & Machining
- Branch Network
- Facility Maintenance
- Inventory Management
- Managed Safety Footwear Program
- Procurement Process
- Safety
- Sustainability Solutions
Grainger curated 32 sessions and tradeshow talks for customers, covering topics from supply chain, technology and procurement, and productivity, to safety and sustainability, the labor shortage, emergency preparedness, and government and healthcare issues.
Monday concluded with a private, celebration evening at Sea World.
