Winsupply opens Washington Winwater
Winsupply Inc. has opened Washington Winwater, to serve contractors and municipalities with waterworks and utility products.
The new company, located in Hyattsville, Maryland inside the beltway, is led by John Calhan who has 35 years of experience in waterworks products and supplies.
“John brings a wealth of knowledge in waterworks and customer focus that reflects the Winsupply vision of creating loyal, profitable customers by offering superior solutions for their everyday needs and unique challenges,” said Monte Salsman, chief operating officer of Winsupply Inc. “Washington Winwater is located inside the beltway to best serve the metro area. There are significant growth opportunities in infrastructure repair in the region.
“The opening of Washington Winwater is the sixth new company for Winsupply in 2016. We are committed to growth and opening new companies is a significant part of our strategy, along with improving performance at existing locations, making acquisitions and attracting new people,” Salsman said.
In the Winsupply co-ownership business model, Winsupply Inc. has majority equity in each of its locations, while the local company presidents and sometimes employees own substantial equity.
