Pentair expands in Silicon Valley

Pentair recently completed a 65,000-square-foot expansion at its Redwood City operations in California’s Silicon Valley.

The increased footprint allows for expanded manufacturing capabilities, a new technology center with state-of-the-art research and development labs, and a modern learning center featuring a smart customer experience to provide training opportunities for industry professionals. The site manufactures the company’s Raychem brand heat tracing cable for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

“Our Raychem brand is well known for quality, ease-of-use and reliability,” said Alok Maskara, President, Pentair Technical Solutions. “This expansion supports our new product innovations and continued commitment to make significant improvements in products, services, and facilities to meet the needs of our customers now and in the future.”

Pentair’s Raychem brand is a leading manufacturer of heat-tracing products in the world, having manufactured more than 1.75 billion feet of heat tracing cable worldwide.

Pentair’s Raychem brand, residential and commercial solutions, are installed globally in airports, hospitals, hotels and homes, while its industrial solutions are installed in refineries, power plants, oil rigs and chemical processing plants around the world.
