Stellar Industrial Supply restructures commercial team
Stellar Industrial Supply announced creation of a new organizational structure to better focus on customer acquisition and business development – to lead the new initiave, Michael Skramstad, previously vice president, supply chain solutions, has been named senior vice president of customer acquisition and business development.
The company said organic growth with new customers is a key aspect of its overall business strategy, in conjunction with existing account development and business acquisition. Because of the different skills required, separating sales and business development will allow for enhanced focus and alignment of efforts and allow each team to target their specific area of influence to a higher degree.
Inside Sales, Business Development, and Strategic Account roles will be transitioned from the existing Commercial team to the Customer Acquisition and Business Development team. Colin Brown, senior vice president of sales, will continue to lead Stellar's regional vice presidents of sales, account relationship managers and specialists focused on managing and expanding existing customer relationships.
