Fastenal July sales up 14.7 percent
Fastenal reported that its July sales increased by 14.7 percent to $323.6 million.
Daily sales in the month were $13.3 million, compared to $12.4 million in July 2013.
The Winona, Minn.-based distributor said its fastener product line, which represents approximately 41% of sales, had daily sales growth of 10.5% in July 2014, the first double-digit fastener growth month since April 2012.
Employee headcount increased by 13.2% to 18,161.
