LAPP USA transforms inventory operations with drone system
Corvus Robotics, a a provider of autonomous inventory management, reports that LAPP USA has deployed the Corvus One system at its 134,000-square-foot facility in Brownsburg, Indiana. LAPP, a global provider of industrial cables and connectivity solutions, selected Corvus One to modernize warehouse operations and strengthen service for its customers.
Within 30 days of implementation, the fully autonomous drone system reshaped LAPP’s approach to inventory:
- 13x More Coverage – The warehouse now completes 26 full inventory counts per year, compared to just 2 previously.
- 60% Labor Cost Reduction – The inventory team was reduced to two people, with staff redeployed to higher-value activities.
- Zero Overtime – Weekend cycle counts have been eliminated, freeing up time and resources.
- Higher Accuracy – Automated discrepancy reports and location imaging have improved visibility, cut errors, and supported faster fulfillment.

The Brownsburg facility supports both state-of-the-art cable manufacturing and nationwide distribution. By automating a previously labor-intensive process, LAPP has strengthened accuracy and agility across its supply chain – ensuring faster, more reliable deliveries to customers.
