Gemtex Abrasives BritePrep Strip Away Products
Gemtex has expanded its offering of non-woven, silicon carbide Strip Away products used for surface cleaning and removal of rust, paint and adhesive residue.
As an alternative to wire brushes, the open coat design quickly cleans the surface without damaging the parent metal. Also, the product can be used wet or dry on stone, marble, terrazo and granite. The offering is available in three grades:
- General Purpose Black - general purpose cutting action
- Ultra Blue - fast cutting action (rigid)
- Supreme Purple - extra fast cutting action (rigid)
Available shapes include type 1 (2”-8” diameters) with various arbor hole sizes; type 27 (4”-7” diameters); type R locking system (2”-4” diameters).
All three grades are also available in 1⁄4” spindle mounted wheels in 1” and 2” thickness and diameters from 2”-5”.
