Radians Type O and Type R bomber jackets
Radians is helping meet the demand in women’s PPE with the recent introduction of its two new bomber jackets.
“Radians has been adding new women’s PPE throughout 2021, and now we have two new winter jackets in stock to keep women warm and visible this winter,” said Nicole Novick, hi-vis product manager for Radians.
SJ910B-1ZGW Women’s Bomber Jacket
Designed to fit women comfortably and safely, the SJ910B Type O Class 1 Bomber Jacket provides a stylish option for women who transition from the office to the jobsite throughout their normal work schedules. “Our new women’s jacket is very unique in the marketplace, and it provides an excellent PPE solution when off-road visibility and protection from the cold are needed,” said Novick. “There are many applications for it in construction, maintenance, and project management.”
To provide Class 1 compliancy, this stylish black bomber is designed with fluorescent green trim and silver reflective tape to help keep women visible. The PU Coated Polyester outer shell offers water and wind resistance, while the fleece lined body provides warmth and cozy comfort.
It has quilted taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on and off, and there are lots of pockets for convenient storage of accessories and electronic devices. Finishing touches include a ribbed bomber style collar and toggle adjustment at waist.
SJ930-3 Women’s Hi-Vis Quilted Bomber Jacket
The new SJ930-3 Type R Class 3 bomber is designed and contoured to fit the female figure. The attractive but tough Diamond Quilted PU Coated polyester outer shell is water resistant, and the fleece-lined body and collar provide the softness and warmth female workers need when their working in cold environments. Taking off the jacket is easy too, thanks to the poly taffeta-lined sleeves. Other features include a detachable rollaway hood with toggle draw cord and an elastic waist and cuffs.
“Women working at tough jobsites need their essential items on hand, so I designed this jacket with lots of pockets for storage, including a hidden tablet zip pocket that is accessible without unzipping the coat,” explained Novick.
“We think our new jackets will check off a lot of boxes on the women’s winter PPE wish list,” said Novick. “And that’s a real good feeling.”
