Weiler Abrasives Group introduced a new new Aluminum Solutions Guide.
The a 12-page color guide features the company’s comprehensive line of contaminant-free abrasives for cutting, grinding and finishing aluminum. It also includes a helpful overview of the common challenges of working with aluminum, along with suggested techniques for overcoming these issues.
Weiler’s aluminum abrasive offering featured in the new guide includes:
• Tiger Aluminum resin fiber discs – Ideal for grinding, blending and finishing, these discs reduce heat buildup to delay melting and prevent the disc from loading, resulting in higher cut rates, a long life and a superior finish.
• Tiger Aluminum cutting, grinding and combination wheels – These are designed with a non-loading formula to prevent gumming and increase durability, while allowing operators to complete more work faster.
• Tiger Ceramic Saber Tooth flap discs — The discs feature a grinding aid that protects parts from heat discoloration, along with self-sharpening ceramic alumina grain for cool, fast cutting action.
Additional offerings include non-woven products for finishing, and power brushes and scratch brushes for cleaning aluminum.
