Index shows moderate growth in March
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index declined to +0.10 in March from +0.98 in February.
Production-related indicators contributed +0.14 to the index in March, down from +0.54 in February, while employment-related indicators contributed –0.07 in March, down from +0.35 in February.
The index’s three-month moving average decreased to +0.27 in March from +0.31 in February.
