Fastenal sales up 10 percent in April
Fastenal posted sales of $315.1 million in April, a 10% increase from the $286.6 million sales in April 2013.
Daily sales for the month averaged $14.3 million, compared to $13.0 million last year.
Sales to manufacturing customers increased by 8.5% during the month, while sales to non-residential construction customers increased by 5.4%.
Employee headcount increased by 16.2% to 17,858 compared to last year. No new stores were opened during the month.
