Fastenal sales flat in April
Fastenal reported sales of $331.5 million in April, down 0.9 percent from $334.5 million in April 2015.
Daily sales of $15.5 million were essentially unchanged from last year.
Sales to manufacturing customers increased by 3.8 percent during the month, while sales to non-residential construction customers decreased by 0.8 percent.
Employee headcount of 20,418 at the end of April was up 5.9 percent compared to 19,272 in April 2015.
