Ideal Industries names director of industrial sales
Ideal Industries has appointed Jim Nelson as its new director of industrial sales.
Nelson will manage strategic business partnerships for Ideal and oversee both the acquisition of new accounts and the growth of existing business. Additionally, he will be responsible for the management and development of the industrial sales team, while building awareness of the Ideal brand. He will report directly to Jeff Kellermann, Tool Group vice president/general manager.
Nelson was most recently national sales manager for the Rubbermaid Commercial Products group of Newell Rubbermaid. Prior to that, he worked for Porter Cable and Delta Corporation.
Nelson is a graduate of Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
