F.W. Webb opens Allentown branch

F.W. Webb Company plans to open a branch in Allentown, Pa., making Pennsylvania the ninth state where F.W. Webb is located.

The wholesale supplier of plumbing, heating, HVAC, refrigeration and industrial pipe, valves and fittings has locations in six New England states, New Jersey and New York.

The 64,000-square-foot facility will be located at 1665 East Race Street in Allentown, adjacent to Lehigh Valley International Airport. The warehouse will stock an extensive inventory of products for the residential trades and fuel dealers, including propane, plumbing, heating, HVAC and refrigeration equipment and supplies. F.W. Webb’s “open concept” store layout enables contractors to get in and out quickly.

“It’s a very exciting time for F.W. Webb with our expansion into Pennsylvania,” said general manager Pete Dwyer. “This move extends our footprint in the Northeast and solidifies our offering to industry trade people and professionals in the mid-Atlantic region. This facility is going to be a great resource, offering the latest products from top brands with the unmatched expertise of our associates.”

The facility will receive regular stock replenishment from F.W. Webb’s Central Distribution Center in Amherst, N.H.

“Business in the Lehigh Valley area is growing at a rapid pace and we see an opportunity to play a key role in the region’s resurgence,” Dwyer added.
