Fastenal May sales inch higher
Fastenal reported that its May sales were $314.3 million, which was 0.3 percent higher than the $313.5 million in May 2014.
Daily sales of $15.7 million were 5.3 percent higher than daily sales of $14.9 million in 2014. May 2015 had 20 business days, one fewer than May 2015.
Sales to manufacturing customers increased by 4.1 percent in May, while sales to non-residential construction customers were 1 percent higher than May 2014.
