July sales up 6% for Grainger
Grainger reported sales results for the month of July 2014 increased 6 percent versus July 2013.
Results for the month included 2 percentage points from acquisitions, net of dispositions, and a 1 percentage point decline from unfavorable foreign exchange. Organic sales increased 5 percent.
Sales in the United States were up by 7 percent, while sales in Canada fell by 2 percent but showed a 1 percent gain in local currency. Grainger other businesses increased by 16 percent, or 17 percent in local currencies.
