Fastenal sales up 1.6% in August
Fastenal reported sales of $332.0 million in August, a gain of 1.6 percent compared to last year.
Daily sales averaged $15.8 million.
Sales to manufacturing customers increased by 1.0 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customers increased by 0.1 percent.
The company had 19,610 employees at the end of the month, a 7.7 percent gain from the 18,210 employees a year ago.
