Cline Tool opens Rockford location

Newton, Iowa-based Cline Tool announced that it has opened a branch in Rockford, Illinois.

“We are excited to announce our newest location in Rockford, Ill.,” said Cline Tool president, Jim Long.

Industry veteran Tony Cornelius has been hired as regional sales manager for the Illinois territory.

“Tony has over 25 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry. He brings a wealth of technical skills and strong connections to manufacturers in the area, plus his customer-oriented approach is a perfect fit with our philosophy of providing the ultimate customer experience,” explained Long.

In addition to the Illinois facility, Cline Tool opened locations earlier this year in Asheville, N.C. and Houston. Each location offers manufacturers a full range of services including custom metal cutting tools, engineering services, integrated supply/vending programs and tool reconditioning.

Founded in Newton, Iowa in 1948, Cline Tool serves a variety of industries, including agriculture, automotive, construction equipment, medical, appliances and hydraulic valve controls.
