IBC adds distributor and supplier

IBC announced the addition of a new distributor member and a new preferred supplier.

Lindco Springfield is a third-generation, family-owned industrial distributor that has served customers in Connecticut and western Massachusetts since 1959.

Kevin Ford, sales manager, said the distributor aligned itself with IBC this year because the organization supports Lindco Springfield’s continuous diversification of product offerings. “We look forward to working with the many different suppliers and members of this group, as we all strive to succeed in this ever-changing industry,” he said.

A specialized industrial tool and metalworking fluid distributor, Lindco Springfield supports machine shops in the Western Massachusetts and Connecticut region and serves the aerospace/defense, medical, firearms, and automotive industries, among others.

“Lindco Springfield supports many of our key suppliers, and their willingness to build out their supply chain in order to support business opportunities makes the company an ideal member for our group,” said Nancy Schwind, IBC’s director of business development.

IBC also added Bilz Tool Co. USA as a preferred supplier

Bilz tool clamping systems are used worldwide on a broad variety of machines and in a multitude of applications.

With U.S. headquarters in Lombard, Ill., and subsidiaries in England, Italy, France, and India, Bilz manufactures clamping tools used in the automotive and machine tool industries. The firm has 430 employees in Asia and Europe who develop and produce solutions for tool clamping applications in 34 different countries.

In June, the company introduced a new Diebold product called CentroGrip, which combines cutting tool run-out (TIR) with maximum flexibility. An ultra-high precision collet system, CentroGrip provides maximum tool accuracy with excellent collet interchangeability, the company says.
