CMT becomes CMT Industrial Solutions
Greenville, S.C.-based CMT, a distributor of metal cutting tools and abrasives serving the Southeast, announced that it changed its name to CMT Industrial Solutions.
"For over 32 years CMT has been helping our customers find solutions to their manufacturing challenges. Whether these challenges are helping decrease cycle times, helping tool up a new job, or by helping managing the inventory flow of tools through one of our automated vending programs – CMT helps provide solutions. So to better capture the essence of who CMT is, we have changed our name to CMT Industrial Solutions," said company president John Stevens in a letter to customers and vendors.
The company also introduced a new website at www.cmtindustrial.com and a new logo.
"This isn’t just a new web address, it is a totally redesigned website with more content and more ecommerce capabilities. Searching for the items that you are looking to purchase will now be extremely easy and fast. We currently have over 250,000 items online from our valued manufacturers available to purchase, and will continue to add items weekly," Stevens said.
