Purvis Industries acquires Acadiana Bearing
Purvis Industries has acquired Acadiana Bearing, a Lafayette, La.-based distributor that serves customers in the oil & gas, sugar mills and other industries.
The acquisition does not include Acadiana Rubber & Gasket, which will continue to operate under the ownership of Grover Dunphy at a separate location.

"They not only allow us to expand our presence, but also enable us to better serve customers in the Southern Louisiana marketplace."

Based in Dallas, Purvis Industries has 82 locations covering 13 states.
