Fastenal November sales up 4.1%
Fastenal reported sales of $298.2 million for November, a 4.1 percent increase from $286.3 million in November 2014.
Daily sales fell by 1.1 percent to $14.9 million compared to $15.1 million last year. November had 20 business days this year compared to 19 in 2014.
Sales to manufacturing customers fell by 1.6 percent for the month, while sales to non-residential construction customers declined by 5.1 percent.
Employment for the Winona, Minn.-based distributor increased by 12.2 percent to 20,784, which includes an additional 171 full time employees resulting from the acquisition of Fasteners Inc.
