Fastenal sales up 3.1 percent in November
Fastenal said that its November sales climbed 3.1 percent to $261.3 million, compared to $253.5 million in November 2012.
Daily sales for the month averaged $13 million, an 8.2 percent increase compared to $12 million last year.
During the month, manufacturing customers grew 8.7 percent and non-residential construction customers grew 4.4 percent. The company opened one new store during November, bringing its current total to 2,689.
The employee headcount increased 12.1 percent to 17,189.
